These recommendations are applicable to any Empire bath or shower liner system, unless otherwise noted in the warranty information. It is important to regularly clean your bath or shower liner system. The following recommendation should only be used after familiarizing yourself with the installation and manufacturer’s warranties.
General Cleaning Instructions:
· Dampen a soft cloth with cleaner. Wipe the wall and/or tub
· Rinse well with clean, warm water
· Ensure that the silicone seal, used to fill in the gaps between the shower or bath liner system and help to block out water, is cleaned in the same manner as the wall and/or tub
Recommended “Do’s”:
· Select one of the following cleaning products:
o Glass cleaner (such as Glass Plus®)
o All-purpose cleaner (such as 409®, Fantastik®, or Soft Scrub®)
o Vinegar and water solution
o 10% bleach/90% water solution
o Specialty products recommended by the installer
· Clean the product with either a sponge that is safe for cleaning non-stick cookware or a soft brush.
Recommended “Don’ts”:
· Use any of the following elements with your system:
o Anything that is not safe for acrylic
o Any product that has to be “left on” the acrylic for any time period
o Aerosol propellant
o Any product that includes Ammonia-D
o Some Windex® products
o Acetone (nail polish remover)
o Scouring pads
o Powder or crystal drain cleaners
· Use products that are not recommended above because they can potentially harm your system and void your warranty.
